I enjoy exercise, but it took some time to adapt (I wasn't an active child, either). I don't always enjoy it while doing it, but the feeling afterwards more than makes up for it. I'm planning to spend a lot of the holiday at the gym/pool/doing shaky yoga.

That makes sense. T2 also commented on something I myself had observed--how aerobic exercise can feel quite a bit like a panic attack in itself--fast heartbeat, getting hot, sweaty, breathing heavy, etc.
Hm...not to be TMI, but I guess sex can be like that too. Which could explain why I've sometimes gotten panicky during that (or felt panicky afterward), too...Hm, topic for a future session (since I've already managed to broach the sex topic with him and felt less weird about doing that than I expected to--perhaps because I don't have the whole maternal or paternal thing with him--well, at least not yet!)
