Shaky yoga is SD’s term for it. Whole body vibration yoga is more apt. Whole body vibration is an exercise fad, lots of claims, can’t judge them myself, but it’s fun and challenging.

We stand on vibrating platforms and do yoga. You can’t do all the poses—no heads or tailbones should make contact with the plate. Not allowed to be on the plate for more than 20 minutes.

Naturally my balance is better on the plate than off it.

You can get a vibrating mat to use at home.

If you are wondering if it could help relax you, it’s very much yoga as exercise, not yoga meant to help with trauma or meditation.
Thanks for this!
