Hey guys I need people to reassure me. Tuesday night my Mum had a stroke. I witnessed the whole thing as did my Dad and we got such a fright. The ambulance took 30 mins to get to us which is poor timing. She got to the hospital with my Dad and was sent for a brain scan. She has a clot on her right side of her brain. She has no movement on her right side. I haven't seen her yet. My Dad and older Brother were there and my Twin Sister and I stayed at home. We couldn't do anything it's a waiting game. She was sent from A&E to a stroke ward. She is on 15 mins observations where they are testing her mobility etc. I stayed at my parents house with my Dad at night. We got home at midnight. I have literally had under 4 hours sleep as I can't stop crying. Every time I closed my eyes I saw my Mum and that set me off. She is only 61. She had a heart attack 4 years ago. She can only say yes or no. So she'll need therapy to rehabilitate her. It's calling round the family and friends we need to do. My Dad is in bits.

I never ever ask this but please pray for my Mum. I'm not religious anymore and I don't know if anyone is hearing my prayers or not.
