Yes, I have Ativan for panic attacks. I haven't been using it, but I probably will for the next one. I do take Effexor for depression and anxiety, not specifically for panic attacks. I'm just really annoyed by them, as it takes me about an hour to feel good to do things again. I did tell a pdoc about these panic attacks, but I'm not avoiding things or am afraid of having another panic attack, as I have accepted that I'm going to have another panic attack, but they still bother me when I get them. Actually, a few hours after I saw the pdoc I had a panic attack that was awful. It's just so frustrating.
