I am very sorry. I have those feelings as well, in fact almost everyday. I try to use the STOP sign method, which is pretty easy. I visualize a STOP sign.

As simple as it sounds, sometimes it helps.
I also try to tell myself “the movie is not over yet, lets see what happens next.” This perspective allows me to have hope for the future.
I wish I had more coping strategies to share with you.
