When I get ready in the morning I have a routine of five things and I ask myself before I leave the bathroom if all five have been done (including medication). It also helps to have a bit in your purse for if you remember later in the day and are not home. I can't sleep without a sedative so that is reminder enough for the evening. I have a glass by my sink for taking my medication if I forget if I have I can see if there is water left in the glass. My memory gets fuzzy when I'm in an episode. In the past I've put a rubber band on my med bottle in the morning and take it off at night.
