Might be worth paying attention to how you feel with your therapist. Do you feel safe? Scared? In contact? Alone? How do you experience the relationship? What could make it easier to open up? What would have to feel different?
My feeling is the relationship is really important for creating the right environment for the client to safely become vulnerable.
