Something just crossed my mind, having just spent far too much time in the hospital ER with my husband. Were you actually sending the email while you were at the hospital? Sending texts and emails can extremely spotty and unreliable in a hospital. In fact, I found several instances where I had sent a text or email and they simply had not sent because of hospital internet interference issues. They looked like they sent originally, but come to find out they hadn't at all. I literally had to wander around until I found decent connectivity. Some were entirely lost and I had to start over. Others simply sat until decent connectivity was reached. Just a thought if you were actually trying to contact while at the hospital.
