Well... yes I certainly do experience moments of what I at least consider to be clarity. They're not typically tied to anything such as a move. Mine just seem to come out of nowhere. All of a sudden, for no apparent reason, I just seem to see my sorry life in all of it's stark reality. When it happens it takes my breath away. Mine don't typically result in anything long-term though. They do tend to bring on a period of increased sadness. But this gradually just dissolves after a while back into my normal statue of ennui.

Many years ago, when I was in college, I started out living at home with my parents. After a year or two of that, I moved into a dorm on campus. And I recall what a breath of fresh air that was for me. So I can relate to what you wrote here. I hope your current level of clarity is permanent.
