As a bit of background, I'm non-binary, I consider myself FtN, and I've decided to seek a medical transition. I've met with my specialist a few times now and said I was ready to try a low dose testosterone. Although... He refuses to give me any hormones until I lose around half my body weight. I'm currently 120kgs (I've lost 25kgs this year already) and he wants me to lose another 60, to bring me down around 60-65kgs. Which, I understand why he wants me to lose SOME weight, but that much?

It's literally impossible for my body to carry less than 80kgs. I have a very broad Maori build, so I was -thin- at 80kgs. 60kgs would be dramatically underweight for me. And to top it all off, my weight loss has come a complete halt, 25kgs is the most I can shift. I've done everything, literally. I've had weight loss surgery (twice), done ketogenic diets, done weight loss shakes/meal replacements, I work out for at least 8 hours a week, I keep my calories between 800-1000 as per my surgeon's instructions... But I can't lose a single kilo more than I have, I haven't lost anything for around 4 months now. How am I supposed to lose 60kgs? I'm so heartbroken, I don't want to be 'female' me any more.
