It is always sad when a store closes down. Shoppers have to drive further to get their shopping done, and employees no longer have their jobs. It is a shame.

Is there another Krogers in a nearby community? If so, perhaps you could work there. Or you could work for a competitor.

Closing the store down is a business decision. What may seem like a lot of money to a cashier may not be much after the company pays its bills. If it is not profitable enough, it gets closed.
