Doldrums of winter, what do people have planned to cheer it up with?

My husband and I will probably do a couple little vacations of sorts. I am still working on a school project and have started a novel that will take me at least 6 months or more to write. I'm trying to get the inside of my house organized better so it's easier to take care of.
