A cynical laugh here...

Reminds me of a Christmas card I got many years ago from someone I thought was a close friend. It said:

"I know many things have happened to you like they have happened to me." It wasn't even signed. Oh, yeah? Doesn't sound like she really cared much, did it?

I think people lead some really busy lives and get in the habit of "making nice" to a point. They ask, but they don't really want to know. I've gotten into the habit of saying "Fine, thank you" and I keep on truckin'.

Here, on PC, it's different. If I'm asked, I tell it like it is. If I ask, I want to know!
