This is something I've found difficult. I was watching a video by a life coach that helped. Say " I feel... whatever the feeling. For me it was " I feel hurt - I don't feel OK right now " But I have problems with numbness and disassociation and not being able to feel my feelings. My T recommended looking at some DBT techniques which helped with that.
