even tho i was born in the early 50's, i grew up in a time warp in rural western colorado. no running water, no indoor plumbing, no radio, no tv; eat out of the garden and off of a gun or hook. swim naked all summer and walk barefoot in the snow. it was a different time, but as children we didn't know enough to want more. i miss that.
