Always say Hi as soon as you can. Some ppl like to set their font colors and all before saying Hi, but the chat server announces your entry, and saying Hi is really nice, imo.

The idea of being in 2 chat rooms at the same time has not been an issue before, as it was only used for a quick assistance for coordinating members or chats, and not used to actually sit and "chat" in more than one room. I wouldn't want the site to lose this capability just because some are overusing it.
