I appreciate the responses here, but this thread is clearly about other PC members, and calling another member/other members to the carpet so to speak for something you don't care for isn't supportive.

I would be good if everyone remembered to use the status key when in chat so as to let anyone entering they might not be there. There are things that can happen in real life to prevent that, though. Also, if there are just the two in chat and they enter into private chat, they might check the main room off and on and sometimes there's a delay in response.

There are just a number of reasons, too many for me to list, that members might act as they do and do so legitimately.

I think the best thing to do would be to look for and find if we can, that which is working for us. If one room isn't working, go to another room or wait for someone else to come in? We can't force others to respond as we would have them to, but accepting that they are giving what they can in the moment would be a good place to start in obtaining what we need/want.

That said, I do think there are some common courtesies that, if used, could benefit the experience of all used...if we can.
