My heart goes out to you and your family. I can certainly sympathize with you as I have a 17 year old son who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

It would be great if there was one pill to cure mental illness. Is your son med compliant? I’m sure you know; keeping up with your meds is important. You can let him know it may take a while for them to take effect.

I’m not sure there is much you can say to make him feel better, but you can let him know you’re there to listen when he needs you. How old is he ?
