After months of intermittent digestive issues that turned into nausea, pain and daily diarrhea I had an ultrasound this week that found "a bunch" of gallstones. I see the surgeon on the 18th although I'm going to ask to be placed on a cancellation list.

I just feel rotten. It hurts and I'm not hungry and I don't want to wait this out until after Christmas. I already missed Thanksgiving.

Has anyone been through this? How fast did you feel better after surgery?
