I started my new job Monday and despite the drive I like it. Everyone is nice and the work is good but I can't find the time to take notes for training. I have a binder but we get busy and I forget to write it down. The computer system.. I saw it as a college student but even that was a crash course....Im still confused with it but then I get busywork or orientation stuff to do and have to focus on that. It isn't bad but I'm scared to tell them to pause and let me write it down. I know it's a stupid fear but I think because of my Aspergers I'm extremely self aware of it (I haven't told yet...had a lovely case of laryngitis this week). I have four years of experience in my field but every place is a little different.... I want this to work but how do you tell people just slow down a bit without looking like an idiot?
