From what I've heard, BPD can have overlapping symptoms with Bipolar 2 disorder, the biggest difference I believe is Euphoria. So, this kind of feels like being on Ecstasy for no reason, I laugh at literally nothing and can't stop. The universe looks beautiful, music feels beautiful, sometimes I'm so happy I tear up. Another big difference I believe is that emotions change much more quickly with BPD in most cases and will happen directly after someone does something you perceive as abandoning you or rejecting you.
From what I've heard, it's common in BPD for the person to try on different hats (religion, clothing, attitudes etc). Impulsivity, anger, and outbursts can be common. These things do occur in bipolar so it can be confusing even for doctors.
However, I'm not a doctor and by no means am I diagnosing you.
