No not awkward. Only time it really was was when we had an ice storm & I was without electricity & water for a week. My friend invited me over I I had several older dogs at the time I couldnt leave at home. That was very uncomfortable because my dogs were not well house trained & I was cinstantly having to take them outside. Luckily I had stayed home till the last 2 days without electricity so I was back home & had to come back to care for the dogs I had left here.

Jyst normal visiting no problem for an evening.
