I couldn't take buspar as it made my vision blur badly. I did take escitalopram (its called cipralex here). That med is prescribes for anxiety here. I had to go up to 30mg before I felt the benefits though. So theoretically once you have been taking that for a little bit it should also help. But everyone is different. I tried a lot of meds before finding something that works.
