You're in the US, which means (if your insurance covers mental health) you can find a therapist who takes your insurance. You'd still likely have to pay the copay, but it wouldn't be nearly as expensive. If you can't utilize your insurance for whatever reason, it would likely be expensive.
Keep in mind, not all therapists are the same as each other and their opinions on certain diagnoses vary greatly between them. If you have any trauma in your past that you haven't been able to psychologically (or even physically) escape from, you want to see a trauma specialist. This is just an example that some dx require specific specialties from specific therapists.
