I use to write mine good old letters and mail them and we didn't discuss anything unless I brought it up. I could imagine her reading them and that was enough :-)

But my T didn't have an assistant or secretary. So sorry about you :-) Seriously, not really talking to you personally each week, Mr. Assistant is probably just going to glance at your fax and hand it on, not think anything extensive at all about it, kind of like one would reading about a character in a book?
