I have a cat I love dearly, and who loves me. We have a bond that is deep and loving. Then my dad's lady friend comes into his life and is allergic to cats and the cat has got to go. Where to? My slovenly drunken brother. My brother recently got a DUI, and has since been trying to "cut back" to 6 beers on work nights and a 1.75 liter bottle of Whiskey on the weekend.

He is in no way shape or form cut out to take care of the cat at all. I worry so much about my poor kitty being neglected, mostly with my brother never cleaning out the litter boxes or even cleaning up puke when he lived with us.

I'm calling my mom in the morning to voice my concerns to her. Maybe she can help.
