Hi, I haven't been here in awhile. That's because on only 50mg of lamictal I was feeling really good. At first I was feeling really really good - not manic just excited about life, motivated, lots of energy, sleeping less etc. Then I guess I leveled out to what I imagine is 'normal.' Then more recently I've slumped into low grade depression, which has made me consider increasing my dose (maybe the 'feeling better' was more of a side effect that has since worn off?). I was already feeling the worst I've felt in months today and then we find out our health insurance costs are going to increase over 700% starting jan 1 - which would literally be half of my extremely modest monthly paycheck (thanks trump). I'm really stressed out about this. There are 3 medications I depend on. I also just started physical therapy for a problem I've had for over a decade and now I will have to discontinue. I feel so angry and hopeless about the situation. My husband and I work so so hard, and for what? There's no way to get ahead in this life when some have so much and everyone else has so little.

sorry for the rant, I'm just feeling kind of paralyzed
