First avoid male doctors at all costs. Being male and being a doctor leads directly to supreme arrogance and dismissiveness. Ever heard of "god complex" In all further searches check the "female" doctor thing.

My suggestion is to look for an DO... instead of an MD. DOs are real doctors just like MDs but they were taught to be more reasonable. My primary care is a DO and I LOVE her. Sometimes she annoys me but mostly she does well.

In addition I am a founding member of "gorilla tactics to get around selfish doctors that are trying to kill you." (kind of joking but not)

If I believe I have a problem.. first, I look up the symptoms of that problem and then I FAKE those symptoms. If doctors want to play these games I am up for it. It is my life. If the doctors don't give me what I want.. I go around them. Recently I discovered that you can order your own blood tests and I do that. Yes it cost money but usually one or two appropriate test can rule things out. You can get saliva tests off amazon... and all kinds of things. Insurance doesn't pay but they can be reasonably priced. I have also ordered those blood in the stool tests.

NEVER EVER EVER take any doctors word for your results. Always get the actual records. Read them... and if you don't understand words... google them. Keep them recorded someplace. I cannot tell you how many times my doctor has been wrong. And it is also important to know what your blood tests are normally. So you know when something isn't right for you. Doctors are required to give you your records under federal law. Ask for them in writing and they will turn them over.

However, I do believe you didn't have a heart attack because I do believe there are blood tests that can rule that out. So if they did those tests... you are ok.
I mean even a mild heart attack will show up on the blood tests, when you heart is in distress it releases inflammation markers... so if those didn't show up.. you had zero distress.

But I would get the actual blood results and google it. You would be amazed at the information on the net.
