Rx Outreach | Patient Assistance Program, Discount Prescription Drugs provides a lot of generics are heavily reduced prices. I used them a lot when I was uninsured. One of my meds then was $100/month in the pharmacy but $35/3 months with the program.

I also get name brand meds through patient assistance programs. You apply through their websites and the meds are free when approved. Even if you aren't 100% eligible on paper they will very often make exceptions if you write a letter explaining why you can't pay $500/month for one med or whatever.
