When I have the funds to, I will definitely order the saliva and blood tests regarding the health issues that I want to keep track of. Until I can find a new primary care doctor. Unfortunately, my county sent me a cancellation of my health insurance letter yesterday that b/c I did not complete the 6-month renewal form (which they always claim to send but NEVER DO in the mail).

I have until the end of the month to renew my medical assistance. You'd think for what their county worker bees are paid (A LOT), they'd mail out the forms when they are supposed to.

Now, I will have to go downtown to my county office and wait in line to fill out the renewal form, and pray that the worker bees process it before December 31st.

Am I grateful for having medical assistance coverage as a low income wage earner? Of course. But the county health care and social services system is broken...or overwhelmed by the number of applicants vs. the people hired to process applications on time.
