I think everyone is different. I'm not sure because I've never had this problem but I think if I ever let myself cry there, any movement or distraction is likely to stop me, so yes passing the tissues would be likely to do that. But so would me having to get up and get them. Tissues sitting right next to the client sounds like the best way, I'm not sure why is it not set up that way. Well, that could scare me too, like it's expected of me to cry there.
