When I quit taking it, it was because manic me had lost a job and therefore had no insurance for the doctor or the Zoloft. So I quit cold turkey. This before I was diagnosed bipolar. AD meds made me full manic for long periods of time, some of it maintaining for about a year. I don't miss the crashing that this would lead to for anything, but the full goose mania was delicious at the time.
