Also people react differently to different antipsychotics so having bad side effects from one doesn't mean the same will happen for a different one.

It could also be the dose. Even a low dose of an antipsychotic can bring about a great deal of relief from paranoid thoughts. My main one is that my house is being bugged but I think of it much less, or hardly at all, when I take my zyprexa.
