Today I was in the grocery store and saw a very nice lady who gets her shoes where I got my body brace. We really hit it off at the brace store. She's just a lovely person.

I complimented her on the snow flake pin she was wearing. She immediately took it off and gave it to me. When she put it in my hand, I saw what had been hidden against the back drop of her black coat. It has grey pearls on two rows of points of the snowflake and the most beautiful crystals make up the rest of it. When I saw the pearls I told her I couldn't possibly accept a gift like that but she insisted and I put it on, right there in the store.

She couldn't possibly know that I have been wanting something with grey pearls but couldn't afford anything like that. She also didn't know that I absolutely love snow flakes and that my birthday is this month and that the pin will be the only present I will receive.

God, (the HP, the universe or whatever you want to call it), sure does work in mysterious ways!
