Kaimarni...I don't think it is that unusual to feel a little depressed for a couple of days after a therapy session. I too have gone through the same thing myself. After three years it is finally getting better for some reason. I think that sometimes when therapy is the only place that we really share ourselves it is a bit of a let down when we have to leave the therapy environment and our therapist and make it on our own for another week. Sometimes this depressed feeling can be due to attachment issue with your therapist or fear of abandonment issues. I don't have the answer for you but I know these were some of the things that contributed to my own feelings of depression for a few days after a session. It would be a good thing to discuss this with your therapist, to share this with them and maybe you two can come up with a plan to help you not feel depressed after each session. Its hard to hold on to that good feeling for a whole week sometimes. Hang in there you are not alone on this issue I can asure you of that.
