Oh dear....from what I understand Police Academy is quite difficult. Since it's only his first week, they have been working hard to break him down so they can turn around and build him up.

I don't think he's giving this a fair shot yet. I know it's tough work and I'm sure he's hurting physically and emotionally right now. But this too should pass.

Remember, nothing worth having in life is easy and imagine the self esteem he'll feel when he goes all the way through it and survives to tell about it

I do so hope he finds the strength to continue...sounds to me like he's grasping at reasons for him to quit because he is tired.....
