I talked to my therapist about some of my symptoms. The inability to track time, and while I don’t have dissociative disorder, I dissociate in response to stressful things, and....I don’t know what you call this.
I don’t see anything but what is right in front of me. I have no vision problems. The therapist says this isn’t surprising, it’s a fear response. She suggested hypnotherapy.
I don’t know. Have any of you tried hypnotherapy?
I’m pretty sure I can’t be hypnotized, but I might be willing to listen to a recording is all. I don’t want to be in a room with someone and be expected to relax, that sounds completely implausible.
