Consider that if so, this is a routine procedure and that if they are releasing you immediately after it they are judging you to be capable of recovering on your own. With this said however, I am a bit shocked that they wouldn't ask what your situation will be immediately following. Understand that you wouldn't be the only person to go through this though.

As for what you can do, you should arrange to have a ride and have that person stick around for a few hours until the surgical recovery is over - especially if you are being put under.
I’m having Cupital Tunnel surgery - since I’m sixty two and won’t have full use of my left arm I’m just concerned that I’ll be able to perform daily activities. I’ve never been ambulatory for an extended period - hopefully I’m overblowing the situation. I have somebody driving me home I’m just worried about the initial recovery mostly - it would be nice to have somebody around but I don’t. Thanks!
