I have been doing okay the past few days. I found a book at the library "50 Ways to Soothe Yourself Without Food" and I thought it was just like a self-help book, but it's actually really based in CBT and psychology and talks a lot about why we binge or emotionally eat. Just understanding why I'm doing what I'm doing when I binge has really helped me so far. The self-soothing methods so far don't help me so much, except for the ones about mindfulness. I really recommend this book for anyone having trouble understanding why they are binge eating or self soothing with food and looking for ways to stop.
