erik, welcome! good job at reaching out for help. in depression, we can all have these "unwanted thoughts". however, when they're repetative or we embrace them by taking them further (liking the thought, finding comfort in it, planning, etc.)...that's when it can become a very serious issue.

is there anyone you can talk with? a counselor at school, a trusted teacher, a trusted adult...someone who can listen and offer comfort and support. in the meantime, keep posting with us if this does not subside soon, you need to consider seeing your family dr or a therapist. it's normal to suffer with depression at some time in our lives. it's when it doesn't lighten or become severe that a problem my lie.

question, did something bring this about? has something happened recently for you to feel so badly or did it come on "out of nowhere"?

gl and please let us know.

kd
