"Hoochie mama"!!!

That's what one of my DsIL calls Shania Twain!

I'm just laughing at the term Des, not your opinion, although I've heard that opinion, too.
My daughter never had Barbie dolls but not because I thought they looked like "hoochie mamas." LOL She just wasn't into them.
I've got a granddaughter that has quite an extensive collection of them but I haven't seen any "hoockie mamas" in her collection. They're mostly the princesses and the Christmas collection, etc.
My other granddaughter asked for some Bratz dolls a few years ago and never having seen them, I went shopping with the intention of buying her at least one, although the name gave me doubts. When I saw them, I said "FORGET IT!!!!" The expression they have on their faces, not to mention all the makeup, was enough to validate my original doubts. No way was I going to get my sweet, innocent little granddaughter "attitude" to play with.
I don't know if she got any Bratz dolls but from what I saw when she was here last year, they didn't leave any lasting impression on her, thank God! Now her "Poppa" buys her beautiful collector's dolls for her birthday and Christmas. I understand she LOVES 'EM!
EDIT: Oh, BTW, I either heard or read that if a real woman was built like Barbie, there's no way she could hold her balance upright. She's fall over from the weight. IDK, my granddaughter's mama does a fairly good job of carrying HERS... and so does Dolly Parton for that matter!
