I usually write down everything I remember after a session. That way, I don't keep thinking about it, and, therefore, mostly do not get obsessed about what I could have said or not said. I also don't struggle with not bringing up issues.
If I ever happen to either think a whole lot about a certain thing or wanted to bring something else up, I write it down for next session, and depending on how I feel at that point about the topic, I will bring it up then.
That way I never really have my head circling around something constantly.
