No couch, no pillows, no blankets. For a while I brought a stuffed animal that I'd hug, and I had sessions at home for a while and I would sometimes take a pillow from the couch then.
A few years ago (2013) I would regularly move to sit on the floor and continue the session from there if I was really upset (and I was upset a lot at that time). After a few times that happened then-T brought in a Fatboy that had been laying around one of the other rooms in the building. I asked her about it once and she said I was the only one that used it.
I like hugging stuff to my chest. I'd like it if my T's offices and pdoc's offices had pillows, but they don't. (I don't feel messed up enough again to bring my stuffed animal) If I still had two legs I'd probably hug my knees, but I have a prosthetic on my left leg and that makes for really awkward leghugging (meaning that my left leg, I'm basically hugging a piece of plastic (the socket) and I can't hug my lower (fake) leg because the angle of my knee is like 60 degrees or something when bent to the max, so I can't fold my hands around it).
