I agree with you and am sorry about any false accusations you've had to deal with. An allegation is not proof. Some people do throw accusations around loosely and/or use accusations, perpetrating further relationship dysfunction.
Sometimes, there's an honest misunderstanding of what constitutes abuse.
I look to the "Wheel of Power" for guidance/education.
