Managing him can be a nightmare. He was just recently diagnosed and just recently started a med which I don't think is working very well. He has angry outbursts and is irritable, hyperactive, defiant and lacks attention.
His psych knows about my issue, but I'm thinking he maybe has both things?

Can anybody offer advice on raising a child with ADHD or what you have done as a child that was successful in managing the symptoms and being successful in school, sports, etc.? What were your childhood symptoms?
