I hear you on the meds weight gain - it's frustrating. I really like the weight watchers' program. I'd go, except I can't really afford it.

I've been consistently at 198 for the last week, so I feel like I can say I've broken the 200 barrier. I have a Dr. appointment in late Jan. so I'm going to shoot to be down to 190 for it.

Still have resisted baking shortbread, and now feel like I may not bother. I'm just not feeling very festive.

Hello there,

Thanks for the reply. I have a friend that did WW last year. She lost 35 lbs. I also can not afford it but I want to incorporate some of the program in my lifestyle. I have cookbooks but there definitely not healthy. Lol. I’m in charge of a pineapple cream cake for a holiday dinner. I hope to feel motivated to cook by the end of the week. Congrats on breaking the 200 barrier. It was a struggle when I did it three years ago. Then I started a new med and gained it back plus more. I’m going to think positive. I know I can do this again, it just takes time.
