Lately, my thoughts seem so "loud." It's especially bad before bed, but I am starting to realize that they are getting so loud in a way where it seems detached from me, as in definite auditory hallucinations. The voices mostly come at night, although I get chatter during the day too. Racing thoughts are so bad lately too all day every day.

Another recent annoyance: musical hallucinations. If you've experienced this, how long did it take for them to go away?? What helped? Do you get them when manic or depressed or mixed??

Usually, I am not as concerned about them when they are soft or fleeting, but they are so loud, it's freaking me out and getting so bothersome. It's especially concerning that they are persistent. Medication only helps to a point. Any suggestions on ways you cope with voices, especially nighttime ones would also be helpful.
