I just got out of pdoc's office. I have been having such a horrible time with all the differnt meds i've tried and nothing working. He asked me a crap load of questions then said he is prescribing Seroquel for me.

So, i have to start off tonite with 25mg of Seroquel and the 100mg of nortriptyline. As the days and nights go on, he said to gradually increase the Seroquel to where i'm taking 100mg at night and 50 mg during the day. I'm glad he wrote that down for me.

He gave me a diagnosis of bipolar now. Not sure if 1 or 2. He said i am rapid cycling and mentioned mania. My mind was going crazy when i was there, so i probably just missed half of what he said.

Who has taken Seroquel? And did it help you? Did you have any side effects?

He told me this med will make me want to snack constantly. He said to get some fruit and vegetables to snack on. So, i did. I stopped and got some. Going to take first 25mg tonite. It's suppose to help me sleep to. I really hope so.
