There is a saying: You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

If you leave situations where you can't please all of the people all of the time, then there wouldn't be any place for you in life. There wouldn't... Be a place for any of us.

Sometimes miscommunications arise. We intend / mean one thing and people hear quite another. I've been known to do this sometimes. Other people have been known to do this sometimes. I don't know anybody who hasn't misinterpreted / misheard at any time in their life.

It can be hard to sort out miscommunications. Sometimes they can't be sorted at the time. They tend to blow over, however.

Sometimes it can help to focus on the replies that one interprets as being supportive and understanding and to just ignore the ones that one interprets as being unsupportive or not understanding.

Or... One could try and work on sorting it out and figuring out what one might have done to contribute to the mis-understanding. To kind of help prevent them arising in the future...
