Thank you for responding!! That helps clear things up for me, I didn't know it was okay to be in a walking boot yet. I'm glad I didn't need a cast though cause from what I've read online you can't get them wet and I know they're not removable like my boot. I'll check out the other type of crutches you recommended. Hobbling around without having my hands free to carry things is driving me nuts and it's only been 2 days LOL. When I tripped over the welcome mat I laughed and cried at the same time. I'm glad none of my neighbors saw me because it was so embarrassing. But it's a little ironic because I was actually throwing out my grandma's flowers from her funeral and I had been putting it off for a week because I had a REALLY intense feeling that something bad was going to happen when I got rid of them.

So finally the day comes that I muster up the courage to do so, and on my way back up to the door I tripped over that dang welcome mat

I didn't think it was possible to do so, but I made it possible!! So I ended up be right about something bad happening when I got rid of the flowers, I now have a broken foot because of it. I told my family I will never get rid of somebody's funeral flowers again.
